My name is Caleb Dueck, and I am in my final year of the Master’s in Counselling program at Providence Theological Seminary. I am passionate about therapy, about people, and about stories.
I have over 10 years of pastoral ministry experience working with youth, young adults, couples, and families in a variety of life circumstances, including addictions, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-acceptance, and life transitions.
I work with individuals age 13+ and use a person-centered and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from various theories such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Narrative Therapy.
I would love to walk alongside you in your unique life story. I look forward to hearing from you!
As a student I have a supervisor overseeing my practicum. My supervisor is Daina Funk of Rooted Counselling https://www.rootedcounselling.com
All of our sessions will be audio recorded to ensure that I am guiding you through effective sessions. These recordings will only be accessible by my supervisor and will be deleted after the course of therapy.
As a student I cannot receive any income for my sessions. The $50 fee is paid directly to my supervisor for time spent training me. Payment will be made at the beginning of sessions via e-transfer to rooted.counselling@gmail.com
If you have any questions about seeing a student counsellor, please email me. I would be happy to answer any questions you have.
